In your reflective journal, make some notes on the following questions:

  • What makes helping students to plan experiments so challenging to teach and/or learn?
  • Are there specific barriers for you in this area? What are they and why do they make helping students to plan experiments challenging?
  • Is this also challenging for your students? If not, why not? How is it different for them?

In the next section, you will share your thoughts with your colleagues. Try to be as specific as possible - this will help others to understand your context and why this area is challenging for you.
