Please note: This is not a live course. If you have booked onto one of our courses, please follow the joining instructions that have been emailed to you.
Now you have met your tutor and your colleagues on the course, spend some time exploring the course and planning your time. This will help you to be ready to engage in the learning forums when they open.
As you have seen in the Getting started with online learning section, collaboration is a vital feature of our online courses. To facilitate collaboration, your tutor will put you into groups very soon and will post the list of groups in the Café.
In group discussions, you, your group colleagues, and your tutor will be able to post in your group. You will also be able to see all the other groups learning forums but will not be able to contribute to their discussions. Remember that in group activities, it is especially important you complete your work by the deadline, as your colleagues may need to review your work and give you feedback. If you do not complete the work by the set deadline, you will not be able to complete the activity. Not completing a group activity by the deadline may also impact your colleagues' journeys.
If you want to chat with colleagues or tutor outside of the specific learning forums, you can do this in the Café
