Please note: This is not a live course. If you have booked onto one of our courses, please follow the joining instructions that have been emailed to you.
Throughout this course, we will be asking you to keep a reflective journal so you have a personal record of what you have learned and how you have learned it.
Reflection is key to effective learning. It aims to make us more aware of our own professional knowledge and action by 'challenging assumptions of everyday practice and critically evaluating practitioners' own responses to practice situations' (Finlay, 2008).
Making notes can help you to reflect on a deeper level as the act of noting something down often helps to think an experience through. This, in turn, will help you structure your thoughts and ideas so you feel more confident when sharing them with your colleagues.
Your reflective journal is only visible to you, your tutor and the Cambridge staff.
The video below shows you how to access and add a journal entry.
