ReflectReflection is key to effective learning and fundamental to the constructivist approach our courses are built on. During the course, you are encouraged to relate the content to your own context including your classroom, your learners, the resources and technology available to you, and your experience as a teacher. |
|
WriteDuring the course you will be encouraged to write notes, as writing supports good-quality reflection. You may also have to create a resource, a lesson plan or an action plan which you will then share with your colleagues in the course. They will provide you with feedback which you will use to refine your work. You will also have the opportunity to review your colleagues' work and give them feedback so they can develop their own thinking. |

ShareResearch has shown that asynchronous discussions facilitate deeper reflection and critical thinking. Having time and distance to formulate answers allows for, in many respects, greater mastery over the course content. Learning forums are where you will share your work and ideas, review your colleagues' work, give them feedback, ask questions or simply socialise. It is where much of your collaboration and reflection will happen, and are a vital aspect of our courses. It is crucial you contribute to these discussions regularly. |
