Ideas for other continuous provision resources
If there is limited space in your learning environment for lots of different continuous provision areas, you may choose to store some types of resources on child-friendly shelves or cupboards where children know they can access them freely. Children can take these resources to an appropriate part of the learning environment to play with them. For example:
- instead of a writing/mark-making area, writing materials might be stored in drawers
- instead of a role-play area, role-play clothes and accessories might be hung on a clothes rack in the home area.
