Games and puzzles

Provide a range of games and puzzles for individual, co-operative and competitive play, including games with rules. These could include:

• jigsaw puzzles
• puzzles where shaped pieces are placed into shaped holes
• puzzles that involve navigating an object from one point to another
• card games involving matching
• board games, including those with numbered squares
• basic games equipment (e.g. counters, dice or spinners, number tracks) that children can use to invent and play their own games.
