Use Swipe and ask learners to consider individual arguments from the perspective of, ‘All zoos should be closed’. Learners consider each argument and select the tick if the argument could be used to support the stance or the cross if the argument could be used against the stance. Learners use the results to discuss or write a discursive text either supporting or countering the stance.
