Collecting feedback from the candidate’s peers is a good idea, but could be expanded to include others in the target audience demographic. The results of feedback could be presented more creatively – a director’s cut including the feedback, for example.

On Friday, April 7th, we presented our video in class to get feedback.  There were only a few things that our classmates suggested that we should improve on.

The first thing they suggested was about the voice over.  The voice over is too intense to be the voice of a depressed girl.  Our classmates said that we should record it over again and make it slower and sound less confident.  This will help get the plot across the audience.

Another thing that was mentioned was that the main plot of the video was not completely clear.  Julia and I decided to add a shot of an old pill bottle to help show the girl is depressed and to suggest to the audience that she overdosed.

The last thing our classmates suggested we fixed was the bubbles in the water.  They imply that the girl is still breathing under the water.  It is an easy fix because when we first filmed we have many shots that don’t have the bubbles.

This week we will work on fixing these things and working on our critical reflection that will be posted on Sunday, April 16th .
