This is a supplementary site to the School Support Hub for teachers in Brunei. Here you will find syllabus materials and support resources for syllabuses taken only in Brunei. For any other syllabuses please access the School Support Hub to find the resources available.
We are already in a sub-set of a course, so cannot directly hide these items using a show/hide title unless we create additional links to the files. That isn't really feasible to maintain and scale.
We can show/hide text labels, but with files uploaded directly, our best endeavour will be to have correctly labelled sections.
At the top level, we're offering different sections for different syllabuses
IF we have to offer show/hide, we need to rebuild each Ministry section and make them use an entirely different format - maybe new course format/theme. Not really worth it currently.
So what is the best solution?
Current option allows us to offer a menu page with links off to specific sections - keep that
But when you land in the section where you have chosen a syllabus, our options are more limited
We could do as above, have links to files, but that gets too cumbersome rapidly.
We could upload the files as directories - that can work OR we can have headings that allow jump links...
Directories - displayed on the course page felt like a great solution. However, by default they are shown expanded, and - annoyingly - it doesn't seem to allow me to reorder the items to be displayed in the order we want. Also, as it uses the original filenames, we're back to the confusing file names that were first started with. IF the files were named in a more friendly way, and we just uploaded the folder directly, this could work
Files with headings - seems like the simplest solution, but when we want to move them - such as changing the order - each file has to be moved manually.
