Resource Plus for your syllabus
Resource Plus is a supplementary support for the course and is not intended as an exhaustive guide to the teaching and assessment of the subject. We encourage teachers to try out different approaches to suit different learning styles and encourage candidates’ to explore their own writing styles and personal responses to the texts that they study.
Support for set texts includes teaching packs, videos and quizzes. The set texts regularly rotate on the syllabus, so it is important to check the set text list for the year in which your learners will take their examinations.
Not all of the set texts listed in the syllabus are covered in this resource, and the themes and characters listed in the teaching packs are suggestions. Different themes and characters may be focused on which are also relevant and appropriate for the text.
Teachers are responsible for selecting and creating their own resources which are appropriate for the learning context.
