Within the study of the work of Andrey Chezhin, the candidate quotes directly from the artist as he describes his working practices. The candidate recognises the creative potential of the use of double exposure and explains how this approach becomes a visual equivalent for the idea of boundaries. “This photographer was able to convey to me more ideas (such as a balance between completely different photos and a clear vision of the geographical boundaries between them) and of course, emotions, (such as an unusual game of black and old colours or an exquisitely veiled sense in his works) than most other creators who work in this style.”
