The candidate uses tangible examples from their own experience to reflect on the theme. These ideas are further developed as the work begins to explore boundaries of personal development and boundaries of meaning. The candidate pursues these ideas with reference to the ways in which art can cross boundaries of perception. Whilst the writing is personal and reflective, it remains purposeful and avoids distracting sentiment. This work demonstrates a highly effective ability to critically reflect on the candidate’s observations and insights.
