The descriptions the candidate provides for their fashion ideas are adequately illustrated by the photographs. This is rewarded in AO1.

There is some evidence that the candidate’s ideas are developed through testing. The candidate seeks to check that their photographs are “magazine worthy”. Whilst this attracts some reward in AO3, the candidate does not benchmark this standard or make comparisons with an exemplar style guide. The photographs do indicate technical ability and an adequate engagement with aesthetic elements such as colour, tone and pattern.
